Job Descriptions
Mechanical Inspector
- Must have good dexterity with hands.
- Good Mechanical skills.
- Must be able to communicate with supervisor and others.
- Able to read engineering drawings, specifications and inspection instructions.
- Ability to work under direct supervision and to follow written instructions and techniques.
- Good basic mathematical aptitude required.
- Utilizes standard mechanical instruments such as but not limited to Micrometers, Calipers, Height gages, indicators, CMM, Micro Hite Height gage and Optical Comparator.
- Determines acceptance of products by using engineering drawings, production prints, and written instructions.
Lead Mechanical Inspector
- Must have good dexterity with hands.
- Good Mechanical skills.
- Must be able to communicate with supervisor and others.
- Must have experience as a team leader and able to direct others.
- Able to read engineering drawings, specifications and inspection instructions.
- Good basic mathematical aptitude required.
- Utilizes standard mechanical instruments such as but not limited to Micrometers, Calipers, Height gages, indicators, CMM, Micro Hite Height gage and Optical Comparator.
- Determines acceptance of products by using engineering drawings, production prints, and written instructions.
Deburring
- Must have good dexterity with hands.
- Light Mechanical skills.
- Must be able to communicate with supervisor and others.
- Ability to work under direct supervision and to follow written instructions and techniques.
Conventional Machinist
- Operate and set-up manual machines.
- Ability to inspect parts using verniers, height gages, micrometers, etc.
- Proficient with machine shop mathematics.
- Must be able to work independently and with others.
CNC Machinist
- Set-up & operate CNC Machines.
- Select tooling & fixtures according to specifications.
- Read & interpret engineering instructions & blue prints.
- Familiar with geometric tolerances.
- Knowledgeable of in-process inspection. Able to use & interpret precision measuring devices. (micrometers, vernieres, hand tools & gages).
- Knowledge of G-code programming and Mastercam a plus
- 2 to 5 years experience desired
- Must be able to work independently and with others.
CNC EMD
- Set-up & operate CNC EMD Machines.
- Select tooling & fixtures according to specifications.
- Read & interpret engineering instructions & blue prints.
- Familiar with geometric tolerances.
- Knowledgeable of in-process inspection. Able to use & interpret precision measuring devices. (micrometers, vernieres, hand tools & gages).
- Knowledge of G-code programming and Mastercam a plus
- 2 to 5 years experience desired
- Must be able to work independently and with others.
CNC Programmer
- Program 4 and 5 axis mills, multi-axis mill turns, lathes using Mastercam X.
- Ability to understand complex geometry, drawing requirements and have excellent cam skills.
- Work with lead operators to optimize the set up process and reduce overall set up time.
- Strong process engineering skills including: work piece control concepts, tolerance stacking, datum controls, and fixturing concepts.
- Knowledgeable of in-process inspection. Able to use & interpret precision measuring devices. (micrometers, vernieres, hand tools & gages).
- Post processor and/or DNC experience a plus
- 2 to 5 years experience desired
- Must be able to work independently and with others.
Manufacturing Engineer
- Responsible for assisting in the development of manufacturing methods and processes.
- Analyze and correct tool related manufacturing and operational problems while working on continuous productivity improvements.
- Work with area supervisors to optimize the set up process and reduce overall set up time.
- Strong process engineering required
- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work independently and with others.
Process Engineer
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes, to identify variables and factors that influence efficiencies and non-conformances.
- Self starter, able to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Technical knowledge of metal working and plating processes.
- Read & interpret engineering instructions & blue prints.
- Familiar with geometric tolerances
- Strong process engineering required
- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work independently and with others.
Master Scheduler
- Maintain Master Production Schedule for manufacturing floor.
- Work with Production, Process Engineering and Supply Chain to integrate requirements
- Self starter, able to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Experience with JobBoss Scheduling is a plus
- Technical knowledge of metal working and machining process.
- Read & interpret engineering instructions & blue prints a plus.
- Familiar with geometric tolerances
- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work independently and with others.
